Our SCC intern will have opportunities in a hands-on environment to further understand the day-to-day operations of church ministry, the formulation of ministry goals, their execution, and the importance of dependence on the Holy Spirit's leading.

If you are a student (ages 15 - 28) who will attend school in the Fall, you are eligible to apply.

Start Date: July 4 for 8 weeks ending August 29th

Hours: 30 hours per week

Pay: $13.70 per hour

Consideration will be given to candidates in High School or University/College who fit the following criteria:

• A student who has completed the 2021/22 school year and is returning to school in the fall of 2022 (required)
• Valid driver's license an asset
• Currently involved in teaching/helping with children & youth ministry
• Administrative ability (general office duties)
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Ability to receive instruction well
• Previous work or experience as a volunteer in a church or community child/youth program is an asset
• Has experience in missions (references required)
• Seeking a future in missions or church ministry
• Takes initiative, has effective interpersonal skills, flexibility, a team player, excellent oral communication, and problem-solving ability
• Ability to supervise and be a go-to leader for Sunday morning staff and their needs as well as children’s & youth ministries
• Please include two written references from leaders of the organization where you have worked or volunteered
